Costa Mesa, California – ThinkTank88 today is pleased to announce the release of the iphone application iETA. It is a simple and private way for keeping your friends, family, and associates up to date on your time of arrival.

iETA eliminates the inefficiency of having to update people on when you will be arriving as well as the dangers of using your phone while traveling places. By using this app business people can update their co-workers on their progress to meetings, friends can keep their friends updated on their progress to events, and much more without any further effort. Distractions while driving as well as during other forms of travel are often caused by technology but iETA looks to be provide a solution.

To send an ETA, select a contact or enter a phone number, search for or input a destination, choose your mode of transportation (walk, car, bike) and press “On my way”. The recipient will receive a text message with a link to view the progress you are making which automatically updates with how many minutes and miles until you arrive at the specified destination.

“When it comes to communicating arrival times, iETA is as simple as it gets,” said iETA co-founder Mats Degerstedt. “But behind that simplicity is a useful functionality that uses Google’s API to give you current location updates regardless of where you are and save you the trouble of entering exact addresses.”

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iOS 5.0 or later
* 2.1 MB

Pricing and Availability:
iETA is $0.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the Apple App Store in the Utilities category. For additional information and screenshots please visit our website. Contact Mats Degerstedt with any questions or requests for promotional review codes.
