Singapore, Singapore – Think Design Studio LLP today is pleased to announce Infant Visual Stimulation 1.5 for iOS, an update to their visual stimulation Education app for babies and toddlers. Featuring patterned flashcards with contrasting colors, the update to this application includes additional pictures, music tracks, portrait mode, and more. Users may now record their own voice as a label for pictures, making this app customizable with familiar voices that are easily recognized by young children.

Babies see the world differently. A newborn’s vision is not fully developed at birth, seeing the world mainly in shades of gray, black, and white. While babies develop the ability to see some colors, such as red, orange, yellow, and green soon after birth, they prefer to look at simple, high contrast pictures. Infant Visual Stimulation reaches newborns and babies at their early levels of development by providing images with a high contrast, colors, and eye-catching designs. Custom word flashcards may be added allowing users to feature flashcards with images, flashcards with words, or a combination of both.

Feature Highlights:
* Fun, easy to use application for infants, babies, and toddlers
* 200 high-contrast, pattern images
* Music tracks may be selected, randomized, or muted
* Add custom words as flashcards
* Voice recording enables parents to record the pronunciation of custom words

Infant Visual Stimulation provides 200 high contrast pattern images. Users simply flip through the pictures with a finger swipe or set the speed of the automatic image transitions. Babies will benefit from the time caregivers spend talking with them while looking at the pictures. Parents or teachers may also choose to have their baby listen to the provided recorded music or other chosen music or sounds. Users may customize the speed of the cards. By watching a baby’s reaction to the flashcards, users can easily see how long the child is able to look at one specific picture and adjust the flash speed settings accordingly.

Providing high contrast images in a baby’s environment increases visual development. As babies grow into toddlers, their vision improves and they are able to see the full range of colors and more detail. Parents can continue to use this app as their baby grows into a toddler, as children love to play repetitive games with their caregivers. Repetition games aid in brain development, as a young child’s brain is “wired” to encourage repetition of patterns, sounds, and experiences. Through repetition, Infant Visual Stimulation helps establish neural pathways in the brain that that are the basis of learning.

A useful tool for parents, caregivers, teachers, and therapists, this visual stimulation baby flashcard app can also be used to help children with visual impairment differentiate between foreground and background in images. Easy and fun to use, siblings will enjoy the time that they can spend sharing this app and talking with a younger brother or sister. An effective app that is part of the MyLittleUni infant and preschool educational app series, Infant Visual Stimulation will provide hours of stimulation and entertainment for infants, babies, and toddlers.

“For babies, learning starts at day one,” stated Think Design Studio’s Creative Director, Josh Lee. “Infant Visual Stimulation is developmentally appropriate visual stimulation for your infant, baby, and toddler.”
